Conservation Commission Special Projects Manager Bob Decelle and Andy Girdwood of the Andover Village Improvement Society look over a beaver dam on the Skug River that was breached this month to prevent flooding. The dam, just north of Salem Street, was flooding a nearby residence's septic system and a "beaver deceiver" flow-through device was put in the dam. Water can be seen flowing through the beaver dam at the lower right.
