Gurney, presented by Andover High School Drama for 3 performances May 9, 10 & 11 at 7:30PM at the Collins Center for the Performing Arts at Andover High School, 80 Shawsheen Rd., Andover. The Dining Room is a view of 50 years in the lives of an upper class New England family, as seen within the walls of their dining room. Written by MIT professor A.R. Gurney in 1982, it has garnered much critical acclaim. It was nominated for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama in 1985, and the Drama Desk Award for Best New Play in 1982.
