Public events at Atria Marland Place

Atria Marland Place, a retirement and assisted living facility at 15 Stevens St., is offering a variety of events this month.

All of the events are free and open to the public, but residents are asked to RSVP if they'd like to attend by calling Tracey McGettrick Meech, community outreach director, at 978-475-4225 Ext.110.

Nov. 6: Arthritis lecture by Cheryl Parker of Advanced Health and Wellness, 2 p.m.

Nov. 9: Accordion player David Capinigro, 3:30 p.m.

Nov. 10: Veterans Breakfast and Patriotic Fife and Drum Duo, 9 a.m.

Nov. 12: "Respiratory Infections" presented by Kelly MacDonald RN, MSN Home Health Foundation, to be determined

Nov. 14: "Music Maven" Russ Carlton, 2:30 p.m.

Nov. 18: Country music songwriter and performer Tim Barret, 2:30 p.m.

Nov. 18 and 20: "Personal Effectiveness Training," a unique approach to getting more out of your time and reaching higher goals, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Nov. 19: "The Smart Pill" and its latest research will be presented at 7 p.m. by Dr. Thomas B Shea, professor of biological sciences and biochemistry, Center for Cellular Neurobiology & Neurodegeneration Research at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.

Nov. 24: Marland Bistro with classical pianist Tim Lillis, 7 p.m.

Nov. 30: Vocalist Lynda D'Amore, 3 p.m.
