---- — Six young violinists from Andover will be featured in Merrimack Valley Suzuki Strings’ 21st annual Strings Welcome Spring Concert on Sunday, March 30, at 3 p.m. at First Church Ipswich, 2 Meeting House St., Ipswich.

Andover’s Gavin Batsimm, Kayla Lang, Yazhini Ramesh, Samuel Zhang, Vivien Qin and John Witt will be among the violinists and violists performing in small ensembles, full groups and as solos as part of the concert.

Five student musicians will perform with Northeast Massachusetts Youth Orchestras’ Honors Chamber Ensemble Concert on Saturday, March 29, at Shalin Liu Performance Center, 37 Main St., Rockport.

The local performers are trombone player Seongwoon “Shawn” Moon and violinists Arman Koul, Gavin Batsimm, Yazhini Ramesh and Sarah Vrountas.

Fourteen-year-old cellist Mari Nagahara of Andover will perform with the Boston Youth Symphony Orchestras as it joins with professional musicians from the Boston Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, March 30, for the world premiere of a new adaptation of Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” for young audiences.
