The Rotary Club of Andover will hold its second annual pancake breakfast at Bowling Green Park in Shawsheen Village on Sept. 25 from 8 a.m. to noon. This year's breakfast is being held in conjunction with Andover Days and will once again be a team effort with Atria Marland Place, a retirement community in Andover, according to the club.
Jim Greeley of Merrimack College, and Megan Loughney of Ironstone Farm, are this year's co-chairs and promise an even bigger and better event. "In addition to a delicious pancake-and-sausage meal, there will be fun for all ages, including games on the Green, a hula hoop contest at 11 a.m., face painting, and much, much more," according to a release from the group.
"What better way to start the Andover Days celebration then with a delicious pancake breakfast with fellow townsmen?" said Greeley.
"The money raised goes right back into our community," said Loughney. "Enjoying breakfast with your friends and family is an easy way to support local efforts."
Tickets are $5 each, and can be purchased in advance from any Andover Rotarian or by contacting Jim Greeley at 978-837-5185 or Greeleyj@Merrimack.edu. Sponsorship opportunities are also available to interested businesses and organizations by contacting Greeley.
