Spotlight Playhouse searching for Felix and Oscar

Spotlight Playhouse of Haverhill is holding auditions for Neil Simon's The Odd Couple.

Auditions will be held on the second floor of 24 Essex St., Haverhill from 6 to 9 p.m. on July 8 and 9. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. A prepared monologue is welcomed, but not required.

Rehearsals will be two to three evenings a week starting the week of July 15.

The play will be perfomed on Sept. 21, 22, 28, 29 and 30.

The famous Simon stage production was made into a television show that remains in syndication. It ran 114 epidodes from 1970 to 1975 starring actors Tony Randall as refined neat freak Felix Unger and Jack Klugman as the slobby sports writer Oscar Madison.

The mismatched pair move in together after Felix's marriage falls apart.
