Andover resident leads Bread and Roses tour

Andover resident Richard Padova is leading a new, narrated summer walking tour at Lawrence Heritage State Park, 1 Jackson St. at Canal.

The Bread and Roses tour focuses on the sites and events of the famous Bread and Roses Strike of 1912. "Take a step back in time and walk in the strikers' footsteps," says the park, in a release. Residents can do so on Wednesdays at 11 a.m., preceded by an introductory video at 10:30 a.m.

Other narrated outdoor walking tours conducted by Andover's Padova include the Waterpower tour on Tuesdays at 10 and Thursdays at noon, and the Gateway tour on Mondays at 10 a.m. Visitors can also take a guided or self-guided indoor museum tour at any time. For more information, call 978-794-1655.
