The Shawsheen River Watershed Association, in conjunction with the Andover Conservation Commission, is hosting a public paddle on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 15, from 1 to 4 p.m. on Fosters Pond.
Families are encouraged to give local fathers and husbands the afternoon off to celebrate a leisurely paddle on the scenic pond. A limited number of canoes and kayaks will be available for public use, but people are urged to bring their own boats, if they have them.
Organizers will be launching boats throughout the afternoon from the Andover Conservation Commission property on Willard Circle. For more information, call Bob Decelle at 978-337-1249
