A crowd spanning four generations is expected to attend. In addition to the musical performance, a memorial service concelebrated by pastors from different Merrimack Valley churches will introduce the program, accompanied by a combined choir, and the winners of a student essay contest will be presented with awards.
Admission is free; the public is invited. A reception will follow in the school cafeteria.
NECC dancers toe up diverse themes
Northern Essex Community College’s Stillpoint Dance Company draws on social media and mind/body clarity for inspiration for its annual spring dance performance this weekend.
The show will be presented Friday, April 25, and Saturday, April 26, at 8 p.m. at the Lawrence High School Performing Arts Center, 71 North Parish Road, Lawrence.

Acing out for Destination Imagination
Actors Inc., a nonprofit theater group, is donating the proceeds from this weekend’s production of “Les Miserables” with the Lowell Philharmonic Orchestra to area Destination Imagination programs, including Andover’s DI teams. The show will be performed Friday and Saturday, April 25 and 26, at 7 p.m. at Lowell High School Auditorium on Father Morissette Boulevard.
