Junior Theatre takes on Robin Hood the Musical
Hold onto your wallets. Here comes Robin Hood.
Child actors in the Merrimack Junior Theatre, currently in its 22nd year of producing children's musicals, are in final rehearsals for their performance of Robin Hood the Musical.
Performances are scheduled for Friday, Nov. 6 and Saturday, Nov. 7 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2 p.m. All performances will be at a new location for the group, on stage at the North Andover Middle School Auditorium, 495 Main St., North Andover. Tickets are priced at $8.
"This is a wonderful family event featuring local children on stage. The children have been working hard rehearsing several times a week. We look forward to continued community support," said Teresa Muzzey, co-producer, in a release.
Co-Producer Carolyn Zipeto said advanced tickets are available at Learning Express on Park Street and Kokee Flowers at 16 Main St., and recommends that tickets be purchased in advanced as previous Merrimack Junior Productions have sold out.
Any unsold tickets will be available at the door for each production.
The non-profit theater group is supported by parents who volunteer with all aspects of production, including scenery, costumes and lighting. Additional information is available by contacting Muzzey at 978-475-1478 or tishanley@aol.com.
