The program will include Vivaldi’s Concerto in G Major for Two Guitars and Strings, directed by Christina Landolt; Gustav Holst’s “Brook Green” Suite for String and Orchestra directed by Elizabeth Aureden; Dvorak’s Serenade for Strings (Finale), Grieg’s “Holberg” Suite (Finale), and Beethoven’s “Egmont” Overture under the direction of James Orent. History comes alive with Andover residents Susan Lenoe and Lani Peterson playing Sarah and Angelina Grimke, slaveholders’ daughters turned abolitionists in 1838. “A Taste of Italy,” at Filippo’s Ristorante in the North End, sponsored by the “Alex’s Team” Foundation and the Frattroli family of Boston’s North End. “Alex’s Team” supports pediatric oncology programs to continue the battle against childhood cancers. The Drifters concert, 4 p.m. at the Collins Center in Andover, sponsored by the Massachusetts School of Law to commemorate the school’s 20th anniversary. Also appearing will be DeDe Martin and Code 51, Pat Benti and the Dreamers, and MSL alumna Juliette Willoughby. Rex Trailer will serve as mater of ceremonies. Proceeds will benefit local charities. Tickets are $25 balcony, $35 regular admission, and $75 priority seating, which includes a reception with the entertainers after the show.
