'Look at me, way up high ... I'M FLYING'

It might look like Tinkerbell has spread her magic dust on the stage of the Collins Center at Andover High School when the curtain opens this weekend on “Peter Pan The Musical.”

But Andover’s Summer Theatre Ensemble has the folks at Flying by Foy out of Las Vegas to thank for teaching its performers to fly.

The cast and technical crew spent several days working with representatives of Flying by Foy to learn the ropes of flying. Now, they are ready to put their new-found skills with aerial theatrics to the test for their three performances of the Disney musical.

Shows are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. at the Collins Center on Shawsheen Road. Tickets are $20 for adults, $12 for students and seniors. They are available in Andover at Orange Leaf and Learning Express, Mad Maggie’s in North Andover and the Andover Department of Community Services office. Visit for more.
