Valentine's flower sale by Spade and Trowel

The Spade and Trowel Garden Club of Andover will hold its annual Valentine’s Day flower sale.

“After two successful years, the club has decided to make the flower sale an annual event,” said Suzanne Soo Hoo, the publicity chairwoman for the club.

For sale will be dish gardens, roses and arrangements in various price ranges, according to the group.

The flower sale will raise money to support ongoing civic projects the club is involved in, including maintenance of two traffic islands, the Welcome to Andover sign at the northern end of Route 28 and the wildflower garden at Castle Park adjacent to Marland Place.

The sale will be held all day at The Mall at Rockingham Park in Salem, N.H., on Wednesday, Feb. 13 and Thursday, Feb.14 , in the main concourse.
