The Center at Punchard is firing up the charcoal for its popular Summer Grill Nights the last two Thursdays of the month at 30 Whittier Court.
Because the kitchen at the center will be undergoing a complete remodeling and expansion this summer, the staff is offering only two grill nights this season.
But they promise to make them both extra special — and are pairing them with free film screenings as well.
The Grill Nights are planned for Thursdays, June 20 and 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. On June 20, salmon will be the featured dish and cellist Arkady Beletsky will provide the entertainment. On June 27, the featured dish will be steak tips and Rhythm-Aires tambourine will perform.
Meals start at $5 and include salad, sides, drink and dessert. The last seating is at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required. To reserve a seat, call the center at 978-623-8321.
Immediately following both Grill Nights, the BoomerVenture Screening Room will showcase a feature film.
The Japanese subtitled documentary “Jiro Dreams of Sushi” will be screened June 20, with the French film “Romantics Anonymous” on the marquee for June 27. Both screenings start at 7 p.m. Admission to the films is free.
