Comedy Night laughs with Rotary Club

The Rotary Club of Andover’s third annual Comedy Night fundraiser is quickly approaching. The laughs roll out on Friday, Oct. 11, starting at 7 p.m. at the Wyndham Hotel, 123 Old River Road, Andover.

Dave Rattigan will host the bill that spotlights three sought-after comedians — Tony V., Kelly MacFarland and Steve Macone.

Tony V. appeared in the 2013 Sandra Bullock comedy “The Heat” as well as the 2012 films “The Love Guru” and “God Bless America,” plus the web series “Boston Taps.” He has made numerous television appearances and hosts the WEEI Whiney Awards.

MacFarland is known to captivate audiences with her charm, unique point of view and surprising candor. Along with performing stand-up in clubs, at colleges and at theaters, she has been featured on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend” and the TV Guide Channel’s “Stand Up in Stilettos.”

Macone writes for the satirical website The Onion and is a headlining comedian at colleges around the East Coast. He’s been a finalist in the stand-up contest at the Boston Comedy Festival.

Rattigan has had comedy clips featured on Nickmom.com and ULive.com and has re-released his CD “Dave Rattigan: Thinks He’s Funny,” which has had air play on several radio stations. A comedian, writer and producer, he is the co-creator of the themed stand-up show. “How Men Think (Or Do They?).”

Tickets are $25; a cash bar will be available and finger foods will be provided. Proceeds will support the Rotary Club’s community grants programs. For tickets or more information, visit www.rotaryandover.org.
