WEB UPDATE: Superior Court supports Bancroft project; appeal possible
The state's Superior Court has supported the town's Conservation Commission and the order of conditions it issued to allow the construction of Bancroft Elementary School. The decision moves Andover one step closer to starting construction on its $44 million new school.

WEB UPDATE: Police investigating double homicide on Orchard Crossing
Andover and state police are investigating a double-homicide that was reported on Orchard Crossing this morning, marking the first murders of an Andover resident in nine years.

John E. Magee, 69, and Geraldine M. Magee, 67, were both found dead on the first floor of their home at 7 Orchard Crossing at around 9:18 a.m., according to Andover Police Chief Brian Pattullo. -
Youth center money approved
Ending a more than 16-year quest by youth services supporters, Andover voters approved $2 million to help build a youth center behind Doherty Middle School tonight.
