Both candidates had at least 450 votes more than the third-place finisher.
Andover High School seniors earned a perfect ending to their high school careers and the whole girls basketball team captured a perfect season on Saturday by winning another state championship.
Members of the Andover High School girls basketball team earned a "three-peat,' their third straight state title. They beat Holyoke 61-45 during the MIAA D1 State Tournament Final at the DCU Center in Worcester.
