Here's what is for lunch in the Andover public schools next week, March 15-19:
Elementary schools
Monday: Beef-and-cheese nachos, egg salad pocket with lettuce, tomato and pretzels, manager's choice, spanish rice, tossed salad and fresh fruit.
Tuesday: Chicken and beef sliders, veggie burger on a roll, manager's choice, baked potato wedges, broccoli salad and jello.
Wednesday: No Lunch - Early Release
Thursday: Turkey pot pie, mashed potatoes, meatball sub with sauce and provolone, manager's choice, cole slaw and kiwi.
Friday: Personal cheese pizza, fish sticks with lemon wedge, tossed salad and fresh fruit.
Middle schools
Monday: Buffalo chicken or ham-and-cheese calzone, fruit on a raft and bacon-waffles- manager's choice, garden salad and fresh fruit.
Tuesday: Chicken tenders, cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato, manager's choice, roasted red bliss potatoes, seasoned veggies and chilled fruit cup.
Wednesday: Irish nachos, grilled reuben panini, grilled hotdog on a roll, refried beans, corn and chilled pineapple.
Thursday: Grilled teriyaki chicken, steak and cheese sub with pretzels, pasta primavera, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and fresh fruit.
Friday: Tuna salad pocket, peanut butter and jelly, manager's choice, veggie sticks and dip, macaroni salad and fresh melon.
Andover High School
Monday: Steak-and-cheese, cheese panini, open-face turkey sandwich, chicken finger basket with french fries, veggies, chicken caesar salad and fresh fruit.
Tuesday: Grilled teriyaki chicken, crispy chicken sandwich, ham and cheese club, tacos with all the toppings, spanish rice, refired beans, meatball sub and pineapple.
Wednesday: Bacon burger on a roll, gyro, manager's choice, corn beef and cabbage dinner, roast beef club on whole wheat and fresh fruit.
Thursday: Barbecue pulled-pork sandwich, veggie chili bowl, manager's choice, lasagna with meat or marinara sauce, garlic bread, side salad, buffalo chicken wrap and fruit cup.
Friday: Sloppy joes, veggie chili bowl, veggie quesadilla, baked fish with crumb topping, mashed potatoes, corn, manager's choice and fresh fruit.
Also available a la carte daily at the elementary and middle schools: bottled water and 100 percent juice; low-fat ice cream and yogurt; bagel with light cream cheese; yogurt; fresh fruit of the season; and milk.
At Andover High School there is a wrap/deli bar with sandwiches made to order with favorite toppings, plus a daily sandwich offering, daily specials, and panini specials.
