Sarah Casey of Andover completed her year as a ninth-grader at Groton's Lawrence Academy with a third trimester on the academic honor roll this spring, according to a release from the school.
A talented vocalist, she is a member of the school's chorus and its student a cappella group, SLACS, and she has appeared in performance as a soloist. She is also a dedicated member of the varsity volleyball team.
She is the daughter of Anne and William Casey.
She has enjoyed pursuing both her athletic and vocal interests during the summer months, attending a Nike volleyball camp, performing in Andover's Summer Theatre Ensemble's production of Oliver, and participating in the Treble Chorus of New England's summer workshop, also based in Andover, according to the school.
