Rachel Annino was named to both the fall 2013 and spring 2014 dean’s lists at Quinnipiac University in Connecticut.

Jennifer Colombo, a 2013 graduate of Andover High School, was named to the president’s list at Bentley University in Waltham. She is a business major with a minor in information technology.

Casey McQuillen was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Berklee College of Music in Boston.

Two local students were recently honored as scholarship recipients by UMass Lowell at its Celebration of Scholarship luncheon. Rishi Vangapalli was the recipient of the Don Gagnon Memorial Scholarship, the Honors Fellows Scholarship, a scholarship from the U.S. Bank Discretionary Endowed Fund for the College of Fine Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences, and the Susan Hoffman Award. Bernard Trubowitz was the recipient of a scholarship from the Charley Richardson Scholarship Fund.

Matthew Regan, a sound design/creative writing major at Emerson College in Boston, performed in “A Toast to Emerson’s Voice: Acappellooza 2014” at the Paramount Mainstage. The concert raised funds for student and diversity scholarships.

Anna Vecchi, a junior at Providence College in Rhode Island, spent a week working with Habitat for Humanity as part of the college’s Alternative Spring Break 2014 program. Vecchi was among more than 130 Providence College students who volunteered to spend their spring breaks working at Habitat home sites in four locations in the U.S. She worked on a home project in Wilmington, Del.

Jenna Hoole qualified for the Whitworth University Laureate Society in Spokane, Wash., for the fall 2013 semester.

Kayla Kantola, a producing major, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2013 semester at Emerson College in Boston.

Two local students were among the members of the student choir at Saint Anselm College in Manchester. N.H., who traveled through central Europe during spring break performing in churches. Kaitlyn Beaumont, a sophomore English major,and Brigid Donovan, a freshman nursing major, were part of the group’s musical tour, which included stops in Budapest, Hungary; Bratislava, Slovakia; Prague, Czech Republic and Berlin, Germany, where they performed concerts and sang at Mass.
