Sixth-grade science project a sweet success

Sabria Liddell, a sixth-grader at Andover School of Montessori, took a second-place ribbon at the Massachusetts Regional Science Fair this spring for her project “Fizzle, Fizzle, Sour then Sweet: An Experiment Good Enough to Eat!”

The Andover youngster identified acids as an ingredient found in candies that will react with a baking soda solution.

She will go on to compete in the state fair on June 14 in Worcester.
