The Andover Public School District’s annual kindergarten registration week will be held Feb. 3 through 7 at all of the town’s elementary schools.
Children who will be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1, 2014 are eligible for enrollment.
Shawsheen School, a choice school, will offer one more year of kindergarten classes before it is scheduled to cease its kindergarten through grade two programs in two years.
Any students attending the school next year will be redistricted to neighborhood schools for the 2015-16 school year, in accordance with the School Committee’s redistricting plan.
Kindergarten applications will be accepted at all school offices next Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., with extended hours on Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Half-day kindergarten is available to all residents of Andover for free. Parents looking to enroll their children in full-day kindergarten must pay a $4,650 fee.
Full-day applications, with a $500 deposit, are due by March 14.
The registration deadline for half-day kindergarten is May 30.
Kindergarten students who are registered by April 11 will be screened Tuesday and Wednesday, April 15 and 16.
Orientation events will be held June 6 at 1 p.m. at all schools.
