High Plain Elementary School celebrated the work of art teacher Betsy Wish the day before February vacation, Friday, Feb. 15.
Wish has worked as a teacher in the Andover Public Schools for approximately 18 years. She is retiring and dedicating more time to her personal artwork, according to Jill Sergeant.
“High Plain appreciates Mrs. Wish’s fun way of teaching kids to enjoy art. She always emphasizes the art of turning a ‘whoops into a wahoo.’ She will be greatly missed,” reported Sergeant.
