I want to place an ad; whats the difference between classified line and display advertising?
Classified line ads are small ads that consist of words only. They run in the back of the paper and are listed under different categories such as Articles For Sale and Services Offered. Display ads are box ads that range in size from 1 3/8 x 1 to 10 3/8 x 12 3/4.

Town Crossings is delivered to demographically-targeted households by direct mail on the first and third Friday of each month in Andover, Boxford, North Andover, North Reading, Tewksbury and Wilmington. What is the deadline for placing an ad?
The deadline for space reservations and copy for display advertising is Monday at 5 p.m. before publication. Camera-ready copy may be delivered to the Townsman office prior to noon on Tuesday. No cancellations will be honored after these deadlines.
Classified line ads are accepted until noon on Tuesday before publication. Cancellations must be made prior to Monday at 5 p.m., week of publication.

Include your name, address, telephone number. Do not attach your ad to your e-mail; please write it in the body area of the e-mail program. Also include what dates you would like your ad to run.
Display ads may be e-mailed to: adsales@andovertownsman.com
