Chinmaya Mission continues collecting clothes for Haitians Feb. 6 and 7
Chinmaya Mission Boston at Andover is hosting a
Clothes Collection Drive for Haiti Earthquake Victims on its premises
at 1 Union St., near the on ramp to Route 495 North.
The collection, which started last weekend, will continue this weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 6 and 7, 2010.
The mission is looking for the following, it reports.
CLOTHES IT NEEDS:
Light spring/summer clothes (Haiti is a tropical country).
New/like new/lightly used clothes
Children, teens and adult clothes of both genders and all ages
Clean, laundered clothes
WHAT CLOTHES NOT TO BRING:
Heavy winter clothes/jackets, closet close-out stuff;
Soiled, stained, torn and unwashed clothes
Shoes
