Sunday, Aug. 11 — At 12:35 a.m., police were called to Glen Meadow Road on a report of “a strange odor in the area.” The officer at the scene reported that “it is a very faint smell” and the officer “believes it is a skunk.”
At 2:06 a.m., police received a report from a Main Street business of a “man in its pharmacy area refusing to leave and adamant about sleeping in the store.” Police moved the man along. Then, at 4:14 a.m., the same business flagged an area officer down because the man “is back in the store and they do not want him there.” Police moved him along again, and arrangements for a no-trespass order were discussed.
At 8 a.m., police were called to Gould Road on a report of “a trash bag with bones in it.”
At 9:45 a.m., police were called to a fitness business on North Main Street after a patron called 911 about “a male party harassing her.” The man was described as wearing a long-sleeved shirt, jeans “and an umbrella.” A court summons and no-trespass order were issued.
Monday, Aug. 5 — At 4:31 p.m., a crash with personal injury was reported on North Street.
Saturday, Aug. 10 — At 5:38 p.m., a crash requiring the towing of two vehicles was reported on Essex Street.
