Key issues: Boosting attendance at Town Meeting. “Everybody votes by their absence and by their presence. If you are willing to let others make decisions, they will.” Wants to make Town Meeting a positive experience. “I try to present an atmosphere where people can be civil, have a discourse, get the issues on the table and make decisions.” Making good appointments to the Finance Committee: “I’m proud of my appointments. It’s the most important function of the moderator and I take it very seriously.”

Key issues: Wants residents to be able to afford to live in town after they retire. Aims to make sure Housing Authority is adequately funded. Looking for ways to “better serve the community and people who need housing.” Opposed to regionalizing housing authorities because he says it would mean loss of local autonomy.
