Cholesterol screening clinic for residents Thursday

The Andover Board of Health is holding a Cholesterol Screening Clinic on Thursday, March 27, from 9 a.m. until noon. The clinic is for Andover residents only; an appointment is necessary.

The simple finger stick test costs $5 and does not require fasting. The program is being funded through a grant from the Andover Home for Aged People.

Red Cross blood drive April 15

The American Red Cross is holding a community blood drive on Tax Day, Tuesday, April 15, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Free Christian Church, 31 Elm St., Andover.

Donors are needed every day to ensure an adequate blood supply for patients in need. All eligible and new blood donors are encouraged to give.
