On Saturday, March 30, youth director Tom Schauer will lead an Easter egg hunt from 10 a.m. to noon at the church.

Faith Lutheran Church will hold morning Easter services at 6:30 (sunrise service to be held outdoors, weather permitting), 8:15 (the Ringers of Faith handbell and children’s chime choirs will share their music ministry), 9:45 (led by the Faith Festival Choir, and flute and trumpet soloists) and 11:00 (a contemporary service led by the praise band). There will be an Easter breakfast from 7 to 8 a.m., featuring pancakes, sausage, fruit, coffee, milk and juice. The suggested donation is $5/person or $20/family.

Holy week at South Church

The following is the schedule for South Church, 41 Central St. in Andover, with descriptions from the church.

:Thursday, March 28: Maundy Thursday Observation. Experience moving choral music and string instrumentalists during this Maundy Thursday observation in Fellowship Hall at 6 p.m.

Friday, March 29: “The Crucifixion” by Stainer. Experience Good Friday worship through the glorious music of John Stainer’s “The Crucifixion” sung by the combined choirs South Church, West Parish Church and Christ Church with guest soloists, James Giessler and Mathew Wight, and guest organist, Barbara Bruns, at 7 p.m. The public is invited to join in this musical experience. A voluntary goodwill offering will be accepted following the service.

Sunday, March 31: Easter Sunday Service. Experience the majestic sounds of the Easter Brass players and the inspirational “Hallelujah Chorus” in celebration of the glory of the resurrection at 9 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.

Good Friday Walk joins many town Christian congregations

The annual Andover Good Friday Walk will be held in Andover on Friday, March 29 at 8:30 a.m.

“This walk has been held for 20 years and invites all townspeople to join in praying for Andover,” according to organizers.
