Beginner’s Bridge: Mondays, Dec. 9 and 16; Jan. 6, 13 and 27; and Feb. 3 and 10, 10 a.m. to noon, life master Terry Kay Bargar instructs; $139.
Addison Gallery Tours: Thursdays, Dec. 5, 12 and 19, 10:30 a.m. to noon, private tours with lectures on the latest exhibits; $9 for series, register at the center.
Annual Holiday Fair: Friday, Dec. 6, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.; handmade holiday crafts, garden club arrangements, knitted and quilted items, live plants, vintage jewelry and a large baked goods table; free admission, sale proceeds support the center.
Tai Chi — Moving for Better Balance: Tuesdays, 1:15 p.m., and Thursdays, 2:15 p.m., through Jan. 24; reduce the risk of falls in this evidence-based program; 36 classes for $65; call for specific requirements.
Current Events Discussion: Thursdays, 9 a.m. to noon, special current events discussion focusing on the events of the day, at The Townhouse, Main Street; part of regular coffee and conversation, weekdays, 9 a.m. to noon.
Our Daily Bread: Warm meals served weekdays at noon; suggested cost $2.50.
Bender Barre: Thursdays, Dec. 5 to Feb. 13, 6 to 7 p.m. Combines Pilates, yoga and ballet to strengthen, sculpt and tone with extended stretching and relaxation exercises. No previous experience required; bring yoga mat. Susan Tribble instructs; $50.
Card-Making Workshop: Mondays, Dec. 9 and 16, 1 to 3 p.m. Explore the art of personalized card-making as you create your own small piece of art to share or to frame as a small picture. Georgia Renfroe, artist, sculptor and jewelry maker, will bring her special aesthetic to this miniature medium. Materials supplied, but feel free bring items to include; $10.
High Tea and History: The Santa Parade: Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2 to 3:30 p.m. Historical look at the town’s annual parade.
Fuel Assistance Forum: Friday, Dec. 13, 9 to 11 a.m. Greater Lawrence Community Action Council offers fuel assistance. Appointments are mandatory and proof of income is required.
Legislative Forum: Friday, Dec. 13, 8 to 9 a.m. Local legislators are available to answer questions with the inside scoop on around-town happenings. Bring questions to pose to the local representatives.
The Crystal Ballroom Holiday Ball: Sunday, Dec. 15, 6 to 10 p.m. Andover Town House, 20 Main St. Featuring music by DB’s Orchestra. Advance tickets $10; tickets at door $15 singles or $25 couples.
