---- — BoomerVenture Campus, Andover’s program for the ages 50-plus in the Merrimack Valley, is a community campus setting to get fit, relax or learn about the next phases of the boomer life and what Andover has to offer.

A full roster of BoomerVenture classes is in store to help people change with the season and beat the winter blues. All classes are held at the Center at Punchard, 30 Whittier Court, Andover. Registration starts Nov. 12 and is required. Here is what’s planned:

Weekly Screening Room: Thursdays at 7 p.m. Features award-winning, independent films showcasing cinematic jewels not available in the Merrimack Valley.

Boomer Energize with Exercise: Mondays, Nov. 25 to Feb. 10, 3:30 p.m. Aerobic workout without going to the gym; $50.

Boomer Zumba Intervals: Thursdays, Dec. 5 to Feb. 13, 3:30 p.m. Combine weight training and cardio fitness while dancing; $50.

Bender Barre: Thursdays, Dec. 5 to Feb. 13, 6 p.m. Challenging workout combining elements of Pilates, yoga and ballet to strengthen, sculpt and tone; $50.

Serenity Yoga: Thursdays, Dec. 5 to Feb. 13, 7:15 p.m. Gentle postures that open the body while quieting the mind; each class will include meditation; $50.

Nourishing Energy: Thursday, Jan. 9, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Say goodbye to the need for coffee, sugary snacks and afternoon naps to get through the day. Participants will learn how to nourish themselves for optimal energy and vitality; $5.

Eating Your Feelings: Thursday, Jan. 16, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Food is essential to life on a physical level, but there are undeniable social and emotional aspects to the way one eats, too. Dig into what food means and explore some healthy ways to nourish the whole self; $5.

Facebook: Thursday, Jan. 30, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Learn basic functions like sharing photos or videos and explore profiles, tags, apps and more; $3.

Personal Fitness: Thursday, Feb. 6, 7 p.m. Join personal trainer Denise Boucher as she shows how to develop a customized workout; small group class or individual trainings may form depending on interest.
