Summer food drive for Lazarus House
Cowan Bolduc Doherty LLC and Avolve, LLC are holding a summer food drive through Thursday, Aug. 1 to benefit Lazarus House in Lawrence. Organizers are seeking nonperishable food items, especially tuna, canned vegetables, soups and macaroni and cheese. Lazarus House provides food to more than 800 families a week in the summer. According to its officials, with school out and a break in the regularly scheduled meals, families are finding it harder to feed their children.
Donations will be accepted at Cowan Bolduc Doherty’s office at 231 Sutton St., Suite 1E, North Andover, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. For more information, contact Shelly Mead at 978-620-2000 or visit www.cbdcpa.com. For details on Lazarus House Ministries, visit lazarushouse.org.
