Activities at the Center

:MEN’S BREAKFAST: Friday, April 19, 8:30 a.m.; $4. Alan French, former owner of Moor & Mountain, Inc., an Andover backcountry equipment store for almost 50 years, talks about his new passion, the 200-mile Bay Circuit Trail and Greenway and the 16-mile section that traverses Andover.

MUSIC FOR A SPRING AFTERNOON: Monday, April 22, 1:30 p.m.; $5, includes light refreshments. Back by popular demand, soprano Wendy Heckman accompanied by pianist Carolyn Skelton performs familiar and not-so-well known classical, swing, and Broadway hits. Skelton will also play selections.

INDIAN FILM FESTIVAL: PARTITION STORIES OF INDIA: Wednesdays, April 24 and May 1 and 8, 1 p.m.; $9 for series. Indian cinema on the theme of the partition of India and Pakistan. Champa Bilwakesh will introduce the films and answer questions.

SPRING FLING DANCE AT THE TOWNHOUSE: Sunday, April 28, 6 to 11 p.m., 20 Main St.; $10 advance, $15 singles and $25 couples at the door. Dance instruction by Dance New England and music provided by D B’s Orchestra, complimentary light refreshments and cash bar. Tickets available at The Center, The Andover Bookstore. Space is limited.

ADDISON GALLERY OF AMERICAN ART: Thursdays, May 2, 9 and 16, 10 a.m.; $9. Private tours of current exhibits and talk by museum director; limit 20.

COMPUTER HOW-TO FOR NORMAL PEOPLE: Thursday, May 2, 7 p.m.; $5. Join author and computer expert Miklos Jako as he offers simple solutions to everyday computer aggravations.

TECH TALK: TAKE A BITE OUT OF APPLE: Monday, May 6, 1:30 p.m.; $3. Find out all the interesting and free stuff that Apple offers
