The managers represented all eight secretariats and 37 agencies across the executive branch. During the year-long program, managers explore ways to provide better service to the citizens of the commonwealth and streamline processes to gain efficiencies in their agencies. The program was launched in October 2010. All executive branch managers with at least one year of management experience are eligible.
Local joins RE/MAX Andrew Realty
Ed Accomando of Andover has joined the sales team at RE/MAX Andrew Realty Services based in Medford and Stoneham. For more than a decade, Accomando has specialized in the marketing and sale of both residential and commercial real estate. He has also been involved in property management for the past four years. Previously, Accomando was affiliated with Weichert Realtors-Blueprint Brokers and Wolfson-Cutler Real Estate of Medford.
A native of Somerville and prior resident of Medford, Accomando is a longtime resident of Andover where he and his wife, Sheila, raised their five children. His three oldest sons are officers in the U.S. Navy and have served overseas. A member of the Disabled American Veterans as well as a member of the Sons of Italy #1359 Club of Medford, Accomando also has been involved in a variety of professional, civic and charitable organizations. Holzman named Five Star wealth manager
Eileen F. Holzman of Centinel Financial Group was named a 2013 Five Star wealth manager for the second straight year based on an independent survey conducted by Crescendo Business Services of more than 100,000 high-net-worth consumers and industry representatives in the Greater Boston area. Financial professionals were evaluated on 10 criteria, including customer service, integrity, knowledge/expertise, communication, value for fee charged, meeting of financial objectives, quality of recommendations and overall satisfaction. The Five Star list represents only 7 percent of the wealth managers in the Boston area.
