The following events were reported in Andover police logs from Tuesday, June 11 to Sunday, June 16:
Thursday, June 13 — At 10:36 a.m., Claude Bennett, 53, of 86 South Broadway, Lawrence, was arrested on Main Street and charged with disorderly conduct.
At 3:21 p.m., Beverly O’Neil, 58, of 65 Mystic St., Methuen, was arrested on Longwood Drive and charged with trespassing.
At 3:48 p.m., Thomas Mack, 63, of 222 Pelham St., Methuen, was arrested on Haverhill Street and charged with operating under the influence of liquor.
Wednesday, June 12 — At 8:56 a.m., a car break-in was reported on Jenkins Road.
Tuesday, June 11 — At 5:59 p.m., a domestic incident was reported on Lowell Street.
Thursday, June 13 — At 3:34 p.m., police were called to North Street on a report of “a suspicious brown liquid in a jug near (the caller’s) mailbox.” The responding officer determined that “it appears to be oil” and that “it is contained in a jug.” Police contacted the Department of Public Works to collect and dispose of the jug.
Friday, June 14 — At 2:27 p.m., a person at a business on Lowell Street reported that an employee “was attacked by a stray cat.”
At 5:59 p.m., police were called to Hearthstone Place by a resident who said she saw “water coming from a pipe that looks like it’s in her driveway,” and the water was going “onto the road.” Police determined the water was from “their sprinkler water hose.” The caller was notified of the outcome.
At 10:48 p.m., police were called to Chandler Road on a report of vandalism to a retaining wall on someone’s property.
Saturday, June 15 — At 2:27 a.m., vandalism to a motor vehicle was reported on Morton Street.
Sunday, June 16 — At 3:05 a.m., police were called to Cameron Road after a resident reported “hearing screaming in the woods behind her house which may be coming from an animal.” Police determined “the animal may have been a fisher cat.”
