Lawyer honored as zealous advocate

Andover attorney James B. Krasnoo of Krasnoo | Klehm LLP was recently honored by the Massachusetts Bar Association with its Defender Award during the organization’s annual dinner at the Westin Boston Waterfront Hotel.

The award is part of the MBA’s annual Access to Justice Awards, which recognize attorneys and law firms making significant strides in the arena of legal access.

A defense attorney, Krasnoo started his legal career at the attorney general’s office. He always knew he wanted to be a trial attorney, according to a release, but when he began to see the problems of inadequate defense, he says he found himself drawn to the work of a bar advocate.

A career later, the MBA reports Krasnoo is still fighting for his clients for the same reasons he started years ago. He is widely regarded as a zealous advocate who sees the best in all people and also serves as a mentor to other lawyers. He practices in Andover.
