---- — O’Donoghue named Realtor of Year

The award is NEAR’s highest honor and recognizes a member’s service to the Realtor organization at the local, state and national levels, as well as community activities and business accomplishments. It was presented at the NEAR Recognition Gala at Tewksbury Country Club on April 11.

O’Donoghue was president of NEAR in 2012 as well as chairwoman of its board of directors and executive committee, requiring her to participate in a wide range of community, business and civic events. This year, she serves as treasurer of NEAR as well as a director and member of the Political Involvement Committee.

At the state level, O’Donoghue has served on the Massachusetts Association of Realtors’ board of directors since 2011. Last year, she served on the MAR Realtor Party Initiative Presidential Advisory Group and attended numerous state and national industry conferences and gatherings.

Locally, she is vice-chairwoman of the Andover Finance Committee and participated in the 2012 Pan Massachusetts Challenge.

A consistent top-producing saleswoman, she was presented with a Silver NEAR Top Producer Award for both exceeding 20 transaction sides and more than $4.5 million in sales volume.
