North of Boston Media Group is creating a coffee-table book featuring veterans from all wars and would like to include your photos and stories in the publication.
The book, titled “North of Boston Salute To Veterans,” will look at the men and women who served in the Civil War up to Iraq and Afghanistan, paying tribute to those who died and offering insight on the impact the departure of these brave veterans had on the communities they left behind when they went to serve their country.
The release date of the book is in December and will coincide with special events featuring speakers, brunch, a slideshow and an opportunity for veterans from all wars and their families to come together and share camaraderie.
Photo-scanning dates will be held this summer at The Eagle-Tribune, The Salem News, The Gloucester Daily Times and the Derry News.
For submission guidelines, details on the scanning events, and how to get a submission form, see the related box or visit NorthBostonVets.PictorialBook.com.
