SNAP Supercandy partners with U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association

The so-called supercandy with the Andover address now has ties to ski mountains, too.

The U.S. Ski and Snowboard Association, the national governing body of Olympic skiing and snowboarding and the parent of the U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing, has announced an official multi-year partnership with SNAP Infusion Supercandy.

SNAP bills itself as the first-to-market, naturally designed candy that tastes good, but offers nutrition that typical snacks do not.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the USSA and continuing to support men and women’s fitness and athletics by providing great tasting nutritional supercandy,” says Andover resident Eric Stoll, president and founder of SNAP Infusion, which has an office on Main Street. “As a team, we have opened the door to many groundbreaking opportunities that we look forward to pursuing in the near future.”

As a U.S. Ski Team, U.S. Snowboarding and U.S. Freeskiing partner, SNAP Infusion will be providing its product for the professional alpine, freestyle, nordic, freeskiing, and snowboarding sports athletes as well as the everyday fans.

The partnership will entail a number of aspects in accordance with the USSA such as event sponsorship for SNAP Infusion in national ski and snowboarding competitions at the International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup competitions; including the Sprint U.S. Grand Prix, Lake Placid Freestyle Cup and the Nature Valley U.S. Alpine Championships. SNAP Infusion will also provide a display booth at each Expo Village location, along with branding assets.

“Snap Infusion Supercandy is an important new partner for our teams that brings a unique opportunity for both parties,” USSA Chief Marketing Officer Michael Jaquet said in a release. “It’s always great to add a new Partner to the USSA family and with visibility in retail at the natural foods marketplace, the teams will be accessible to a category of consumers who are like-minded about their health and fitness and aware of the importance of that in sport.”
