The following items were recorded in Andover police logs from Tuesday, April 23, to Monday, April 30
Tuesday, April 23 — At 12:28 p.m., a 16-year-old male from Lawrence was arrested on River Road and charged with assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and disturbing a public assembly.
Friday, April 26 — At 6:55 a.m., Jose Valez, 45, of 535 Hampshire St. in Lawrence, was arrested on Main Street and charged with operating a motor vehicle while unlicensed.
At 3:26 p.m., a 16-year-old male from Andover was arrested on River Road and charged with indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over.
Saturday, April 27 — Starting at 2:13 a.m., Merrimack College police made four arrests on Foxhill Road, which were processed in Andover as courtesy bookings. Arrested were: Russell Montero Jr., 18, of 6 Maurice Ave. in Lawrence, charged with being a person under 21 in possession of liquor and carrying a firearm on school grounds; Matthew Gomes, 19, of 10 Lincoln St. in Methuen, charged with being a person under 21 in possession of liquor; Mario Barriera, 20, of 35 Olive Ave. in Lawrence, charged with being a person under 21 in possession of liquor, a weapons charge regarding possession of pepper spray, and disorderly conduct; and Nehemiah Day, 20, of 31 Byron Ave. in Lawrence, charged with trespassing and disorderly conduct.
At 12:09 p.m., Sarit Feldman-Levenson, 45, of 3 Villa Roma Drive in Tewksbury, was arrested on Riverside Drive and charged with violating an abuse prevention order and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The arrest was related to an incident where a caller reported that “his wife hit him with a DVD player in the arm.”
Tuesday, April 23 — Starting at 7:07 a.m., police received multiple reports of thefts from motor vehicles, with reports from Cherrywood Circle at 7:07 a.m., Black Birch Way at 7:34 and 7:35 a.m., and Pendant Court at 8:36 a.m.
