‘A Place at the Table’ screening
Neighbors in Need is hosting a free viewing of the film “A Place at the Table” followed by a panel discussion on Wednesday, Oct. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at Memorial Hall Library, 2 North Main St., Andover.
The film looks at solutions to solving hunger in the country. Led by area teachers, nutritionists and health professionals, the panel will explore how hunger in local communities affects how children learn, and the other serious social, economic and cultural problems pervasive hunger creates.

Italian Buffet Night at West Parish
West Parish Church at 129 Reservation Road serves up its annual Italian Buffet Night on Saturday, Oct. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. The menu will feature eggplant, lasagna (meat and vegetarian), chicken cacciatore, spaghetti and meatballs, garden salad, Italian bread, cake and coffee/tea. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 and under.
