Songs and supper with the gaslight gang

The Andover Townsman

Andover residents filled the senior center Saturday for dinner and a show.

Residents were invited to enjoy popular music from the early 1900s played by John Root. Root plays a variety of instruments.

People attending also were able to enjoy a roast beef dinner with all the trimmings.

The next big event at the Andover Senior Center is tomorrow, Friday, Sept. 28, when there will be an open house from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The free event will highlight the groups and programs run out of the center, with a morning program from 9 to 11:30 a.m. meant to allow people to “ visit our many groups to see what is of interest to you,” according to the center.
