ANDOVER | Isabelle (Lemaitre) Colaneri, 93, died Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at the Caritas Holy Family Hospital, Methuen.
Longtime resident of Andover, daughter of George and Eva Lemaitre of Lawrence, and widow of Dr. Joseph E.M. Colaneri of Troy, N.Y.
She was the surviving sister of Camille Lemaitre Batal, Marcelle Lemaitre, and Alice Lemaitre, all of Methuen and Dr. George Lemaitre of Lawrence.
Mrs. Colaneri was a retired registered nurse and was trained at The Peter Bent Brigham Hospital Boston where she was named assistant to the director of nursing, a position she held and loved for many years.
She was the beloved mother of and is survived by Dr. Joseph L. Colaneri of Washington, Dr. Paul Colaneri, and his wife Laurie Sickles Colaneri of New Hampshire; and daughter, Marcelle I. Colaneri of Andover. She will remain in their hearts always with love, affection and respect.
ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be private and held at West Parish Cemetery in Andover. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence St. in Methuen.
Lola D'Angelo, 71
ANDOVER | Lola (Castle) D'Angelo, 71, of Andover, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007 at her residence in Andover.
She was born on July 21, 1936, in Lawrence, to Steven and Mary Lola (Reilly) Castle. Lola attended Andover schools, graduated from Nazareth Academy and graduated from Merrimack College in 1956.
She was a member of Lawrence Elks, Red Hat Association, and a former member of Lady Elks. Lola attended St. Joseph's Church in Andover.
Lola worked for the IRS in Andover as a tax examiner for 10 years and at Raytheon Corporation as a secretary from 1957 to 1972.
Mrs. D'Angelo is survived by her husband Gerald A. D'Angelo Sr. of Andover; daughter Diane M. D'Angelo of Melrose; son Gerald D'Angelo Jr. and his wife Judith of Methuen; one grandchild, David Samuel D'Angelo; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends called Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 125 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Funeral services began at the funeral home on Monday, Nov. 19, 2007 at 8:45 a.m., with a Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church. Burial followed at St. Augustine's Cemetery in Andover.
Mary Jane Desmet, 92
ANDOVER | Mary Jane (Desmulier) Desmet, 92, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2007 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
She was born in Lawrence, daughter of the late Gaston and Martha (Caytant) Desmulier.
A lifelong resident of Andover, she was a housewife and mother of four.
Mary Jane was a member of the Trinitarian Congregational Church of North Andover and a former member of Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover.
Mrs. Desmet, the widow of Dr. George W. Desmet, she is survived by children, Jacqueline M. Desmet of West Palm Beach, Fla., George W. and his wife Leah of Merrimac, Beverly A. and husband Mark Peterson of Southington, Conn., and Bruce A. Desmet of Andover, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Mildred M. McMahon, 84
ANDOVER | Mildred M. (Thom) McMahon, 84, of Andover and formerly of South Lawrence, died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2007 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She was the wife of Mr. Joseph P. McMahon, her devoted husband of 55 years. They were married on Mother’s Day, May 11, 1952 in St. Patrick Church, South Lawrence.
Born in Lawrence on Feb. 17, 1923, she was the daughter of the late George and Sophia (Millan) Thom.
Educated in Lawrence schools, she graduated from Lawrence High School, a member of the Class of 1940.
She rendered faithful service to her country during World War II, serving for two years with the United States Marine Corps.
The McMahons settled in Andover in 1960. Prior to her retirement, she was a supervisor for many years at Cherry & Webb Co., Lawrence. She was an active communicant of St. Patrick Church, and was a lifelong member of the South Lawrence Parish.
In addition to her loving husband, family members include, several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Friday, Nov. 23 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, Nov. 24 at 11 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, 118 South Broadway.
