North Andover, MA — Daniel H. Gilbride, 39, of North Andover Mass., passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2014.
He was born on October 26, 1974, in Salem, Mass. The son of Eileen Gilbride and the late Philip Gilbride.
Dan was raised in Andover, Mass., and spent weekends in northern New Hampshire. He attended Johnson and Wales University in Providence, R.I., and UMass Lowell in Lowell, Mass., and was employed as a Systems Engineer at Daymark Solutions.
Dan was an avid snowboarder and was an instructor at Bretton Woods where he met his future wife and many lifelong friends. He was loved by all who met him. He drew people in with his sharp wit and dry sense of humor. He was great with children and was a devoted uncle to Kiera and Jameson. Dan was a faithful family man and considered many of his friends to be family. His untimely passing has left a hole in our hearts and he will forever be loved and remembered.
Dan is survived by his wife, Elsa; mother, Eileen; stepfather, Jim Lydon; brother, Sean; sister-in-law, Deana; niece and nephew, Kiera and Jameson; sister-in-law, Heather Perry and brother-in-law, Michael McHale. He is also survived by loving extended family and friends.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours were held Friday, March 21, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Conte Funeral Home, 17 3rd St., North Andover, MA 01845.
