Eva Mary Perry (Post), 81

Andover — Eva Mary (Post) Perry, 81, of Andover, formerly of Stoneham and North Reading, died peacefully on March 31, 2013, at the Blair House in Tewksbury. She was the loving wife of 63 years to Francis A. Perry.

Born on January 1, 1932, in Chelsea, Mass., and raised in North Reading, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Anderson) Post. She was one of 10 children.

Eva was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was incredibly kind, caring, selfless, patient and full of life and love. She will be sadly missed by her family. She was a avid bridge player and even taught for many years. She loved watching the Red Sox, Patriots and golf.

Eva was the loving mother of Scott Perry and his wife, Rachel, of Dallas, Texas, Penney Lowe of Springfield, Eve Katz of Haverhill, and the late Roy Perry; sister of William Post of Salem, N.H., Richard Post of Tewksbury, Elizabeth Hancock and Christina Martin, both of Andover, Caroline Denise of Pelham, N.H., Mary Lou Roll of West Palm Beach, Fla., Tommy Croswell of Texas, Andrew Croswell of Littleton, and the late Joseph Post. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral will be held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading, on Thursday, April 4, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter Street (Route 62), North Reading. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made her memory to New England Hospice, 190 Old Derby Street, Hingham, MA 02043.
