Andover — Francis A. Perry, 83, U.S. Army Veteran, of Andover, died February 10, 2014. He was the husband of the late Eva M. (Post) Perry.
Born in Boston, MA, on July 22, 1930, he was the son of the late James Roy and Betsey (Penney) Perry. He had retired from the U.S. Army Reserves as a Command Sergeant Major with over 30 years of Distinguished Service with the 804th Hospital Center Command. He was also a Veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Perry also worked as a civilian for U.S. Army Reserves as a Staff Administrator. He was a past Commander of the American Legion and a member of Post No. 62 in Reading.
He is survived by his son, Scott Perry and his wife, Rachel, of Dallas, TX; daughters, Penney Lowe of Springfield and Eve Katz of Haverhill. He was the father of the late Roy Perry. Brother of Faye Hancock and Phyllis Fisher, both of East Boston, Barbara Fronduto and Audrey DiPasquale, both of Revere and Howard Perry of Dedham. Also survived by seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral will be held from the Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow Street, North Reading on Saturday, February 15, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Theresa’s Church, 63 Winter Street, (Route 62), North Reading. Calling hours will be on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in North Reading.
