St Petersburg, FL — Sylvia H. McLean, formerly of Andover, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012, in St. Petersburg, FL. Born in Whitinsville, MA, she graduated from Florida State College for Women. She married Jack Reinhardt in 1942. Together they operated Reinhardt Interiors in Ithaca, NY, for nearly 30 years prior to Jack’s death. In 1980, she married E. Wells McLean, a long-time Andover resident. The couple split their time among Andover, Ithaca and Redington Beach, FL, where Sylvia owned the Sunbird boutique. Sylvia had a love of art and design. She traveled extensively throughout her life for both business and pleasure. She is survived by a stepson, Alan McLean, of Vail, CO, stepdaughter and her husband, Jenifer and George Cooke, of Andover, MA, and grandchildren, Evan and Kelly Cooke, of Andover, MA. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL.
