Rosemary Angelone, 71

ANDOVER | Rosemary (Blanchard) Angelone, 71, born June 25, 1936, daughter of the late George and Mary (Berube) Blanchard, joined the Lord on Friday, Jan. 11, 2008 surrounded by her family.

Born and educated in Methuen, she attended St. Theresa's Grammar School, graduating in 1950, and was also a graduate of St. Ann's High School with the class of 1954.

She resided in Marble, N.C. for 17 years where she made many friends. She returned to New England where she would live out the rest of her life with her family.

She was a member of the Berkeley Club Women's Auxiliary, St. Basil's, Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Theresa's Church and St. Lucy's.

She worked for the telephone company until she married and continued her life as a devoted mother of six.

She leaves four sons and two daughters, William C. Angelone Jr. and wife Glenda of Kingston, N.H., Donald S. Angelone of Port St. Lucie, Fla., David P. Angelone and wife Marie also of Port St. Lucie, Fla. and John K. Angelone and his wife Linda of Lawrence, Lisa M. Angelone of Jupiter, Fla. and Lynn E. Angelone of Lawrence; two sisters, Dorothy Wood of Andover and Shirley Van Buskirik of Andrews, N.C.; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. Rosemary also leaves her former spouse, William C. Angelone Sr. and his wife Denise and also her lifelong friends, Corinne Lucier and Elaine Gillmette.

ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010 Rockville, MD 20852-9813. Family and friends called Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home Inc., 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Theresa's Church Methuen. Anna T. Bonaccorsi, 85

ANDOVER | Anna T. (Zoglio) Bonaccorsi, 85, of Andover and formerly of North Andover, died Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008 at the Lawrence General Hospital.

She was the wife of the late James J. Bonaccorsi and is survived by her daughter, Joyce Casaburri and her husband Neff of North Andover; and her son, James Bonaccorsi of Newton; as well as her beloved grandchildren, James and Joanna Casaburri of North Andover.

Peter W. Haywood, 52

PORTLAND, Maine | Peter W. Haywood, 52, formerly of Andover, died Friday, Nov. 30, 2007 after a long illness.

Born July 1, 1955 in Stoneham, he was the son of Robert T. and Claire F. Haywood. He attended Andover school and University of Maine, Machias campus. In addition to Massachusetts and Maine he lived in California for several years.

Peter was born with a rare heart defect and was given a second chance at life through a groundbreaking surgery by the excellent surgeons at Boston Children's Hospital when he was seven years old.

A master craftsman and excellent landscape gardener, he built his own home in Ottisfield, Maine. He was a member of the volunteer fire department in that town for many years. He was a very creative, gifted and talented person, virtually in every aspect. He enjoyed carpentry, fishing, landscaping and building ponds and various other outdoor sports and everything creative.

He is sadly and lovingly missed by his mother, Claire Haywood; his older sister, Barbara Risch of Holderness, N.H.; his younger sister, Diane LeBlanc and her significant other, Glen Davis of North Andover; several nieces and nephews, Alana Johanson and her husband Eric of Sandown, N.H., Rich Risch and his significant other Norma of Derry, N.H., April Afonzo and her husband Ron of Haverhill and Joe Risch of Manchester, N.H.

ARRANGEMENTS: A private memorial service will be celebrated in the spring. Robert B. Rensink, 70

ANDOVER | Robert B. Rensink, 70, a 30-year resident of Andover, died on Monday, Jan. 14, 2008 at Mass General Hospital after a year long battle with leukemia.

Bob was born in Los Angeles, the son of the late Benjamin and Anna Rensink. Beloved husband of Roberta Lane Rensink. Brother of Ruth Penney, Ellen Lawson, Marilyn Christian and the late Katherine Deibler. Father of Linda Keefer of Westford, Nancy Fothergill of North Reading and John Rensink of Andover. Grandfather to Sarah and Emily Fothergill, and Matthew and Megan Keefer. Bob is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Bob graduated from California Polytechnic Institute at San Luis Obispo with a degree in mathematics. After college, he moved to Massachusetts and was employed by General Electric, Honeywell and SBLI in the computer field.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. Bob's winning smile and laughing eyes could be seen working in Andover as a volunteer at the Senior Center and delivering Meals on Wheels. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren, taking long walks with his dog, and talking to the neighbors.

Jean K. Sharis, 91

ANDOVER | Jean K. (DiStefano) Sharis, 91, of Andover, formerly of Everett, beloved wife of the late Nicholas Sharis, died at her home in Andover on Wednesday, Jan. 9, 2008.

Born in East Boston, she was a beloved daughter of the late Salvatore and Jenny (Pappa) DiStefano.

Mrs. Sharis is survived by three loving daughters and three sons-in-law, Georgine and her husband Michael DiOrio of Andover, Lorraine and her husband Richard Cardoza of North Andover and Jeannie and her husband Robert Ritchie of Westford; one beloved son and one daughter-in-law, George and his wife Marie Sharis of Andover; four cherished grandchildren, Kim and her husband Cario Alpuerto and Nicholas, Christa and Gennie Sharis; one dear great-granddaughter, Madeline Alpuerto; two loving sisters, Mary Maselli and Eleanor Goodine; and several nieces and nephews.

    Beatrice "Bea" Eleanor (Williams) Morreo, 85, died peacefully Thursday, February 2nd, 2012, surrounded by family at her home in Brooksby Village.

    She was the daughter of the late Mamie (Lindholm) and Bill Williams. She resided during her childhood years in Middletown, New York. She was the wife of the late Daniel Anthony Morreo and she lived in Andover with him for 40 years. Survived by 5 children, Susan Birrell, Gail Bryant, Mark Morreo, Martha Wiley, and Dan Morreo; 10 grandchildren including Christy, Brittany, Joshua, Randall, Molly, Robbie, Heather, Nicole, Ali and Abbey; and one great granddaughter, Ella Grace. She will be missed.

    Linda R. Pytka, age 63, of Andover, passed away on January 30, 2012, after a brave battle against multiple myeloma that lasted over six years.

    Born and raised in Worcester, she was the loving mother of three sons, Jonathan, Brendan, and Justin, and the devoted wife of Stephen M. Pytka. Her passing was peaceful, and she was surrounded by her family, who will miss her dearly. Linda was formerly a critical care nurse at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, helping others through their difficult times.

  • Margaret F. Kruse, 82

    Margaret Farrell Kruse, age 82, of N. Andover, MA, formerly of Piscataway, NJ, died on January 28, 2012.

    She was born on July 12, 1929 in New York City, the daughter of Michael Henry and Margaret Ruth (Griffin) Farrell. She majored in history at Barnard College, at which time she met her future husband of 60 years, Theodore Kruse. She maintained a life-long interest in history, art and current events, and served on the boards of numerous civic and volunteer organizations. As a member of the League of Women Voters, she studied how the dearth of low-income housing shaped communities and this interested her in zoning issues. This work lead to her being appointed to Piscataway’s Civil Rights Advisory Commission and also the Zoning Board of Adjustments. She was later elected to Piscataway’s Town Council. After moving to the Edgewood Retirement Community in North Andover, she wrote articles for the Edgewood News and served on the Resident Council.

    She was born on February 22, 1944 in Cambridge, MA, the daughter of Alton and Margaret (Wynne) Greene. The beloved wife of John "Jack" Magee, the couple was married on February 19, 1972 in Arlington, MA and subsequently moved to Andover, MA where they raised two children. Jeri graduated from Arlington High School in 1961, held a Bachelor of Arts from (the former) Boston State College and a Master of Arts in Education from Suffolk University. She taught elementary school for several years in Billerica, MA, and became a homemaker after her children were born.

    NASHUA, N.H. — William Elias Conway, of Nashua, New Hampshire, and Fortunes Rocks, Biddeford, ME, passed away on December 29, 2011, in Nashua, NH, at age 85.
    Bill, as he was known, was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on March 21, 1926 to James Francis and Ellen (McQuade) Conway. He was the third of their five children; his two brothers, James Francis, Jr. of Lowell, MA and John Keegan of Lawrence, NY, and his two sisters, Isabelle Ann Yardley of Needham, MA and Ellen Mary of Lowell, all predeceased him. Bill graduated from Lowell High School in 1943 and attended Harvard College. He was later appointed to the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis, from which he graduated in the Class of 1948. He married his childhood sweetheart, Jane Priscilla Bowler, and they spent 62 years together until her death earlier this year.
