Survivors include his loving wife of 48 years, Nina Ásgeirsson of Andover and Falmouth, who he never forgot or stopped loving. His loving sons, Mark Ásgeirsson, Erik Ásgeirsson and his wife, Claudia, of Rye, N.Y., and his daughter, Joan Calhoun and her husband, Michael. Ásgeir was blessed and delighted by his six granddaughters, Karina, Krista and Kyra Calhoun and Fiona, Annabel and Victoria Ásgeirsson.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made to the Academy Manor in Andover, made in Ásgeir’s name and to the Alzheimer’s Association. We would like to give special thanks to all the staff at the Academy Manor for their exceptional kindness and care to Ásgeir.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral will be celebrated in his memory Nov. 10th, 2013, at 1 p.m. at St. Barnabas Chapel, 91 Main Street, Falmouth, MA, where Ásgeir and Nina were married 48 years ago. A burial will be held immediately following the funeral at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Falmouth. A reception will follow at 41 Beccles Rd., Falmouth, MA 02540.
