Andover and Naples, FL — Mrs. Ann Elizabeth (Murphy) Fuchs, a resident of Andover and Naples, Fla., and beloved wife of John F. Fuchs, died at the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen on Tuesday morning, May 28, 2013. She was 77 years old.
Born in Trenton, N.J., on February 26, 1936, she was the beloved daughter of the late John and Louisa (Clower) Murphy. Mrs. Fuchs was an active woman and was a member of the Andona Society in Andover and the Village Garden Club. She had been employed by Pappagalos in Andover, Young Fashions and Valentine Flowers. In her spare time, Mrs. Fuchs enjoyed winters in Naples, Florida playing golf.
Besides her loving husband, John, Ann will be missed by her loving children, Dorothy A. and her husband, David J. Rokes, of Naples, Fla., John J. Fuchs of Haverhill, and Paul F. Fuchs and his partner, Judith L. Mize, of Tewksbury. She was also the sister of the late Dorothy Haney and Jackie Murphy.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours were held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main St., Andover, Thursday, May 30, 2013, from 4 to 7 p.m. Service and interment will be privately held at a later date.
